IO Expansion Board

Product Overview:

The IO Expansion Board allows industrial Ethernet bus devices to operate other I/O devices and perform data acquisition. Industrial Ethernet protocols offer high speed, low latency, and strong real-time performance, but most I/O devices do not support direct connection to industrial Ethernet — this board solves that problem.

Easy to Use

Users can use the default IP address or configure it manually or via software, for convenient operation. Rich status indicator LEDs give an at-a-glance view of module status, network status, and DI/DO port status. Spring-cage terminal blocks make wiring simple, and the compact, DIN-rail mounting design makes installation easy.

High Reliability

Designed for demanding industrial applications, with comprehensive overvoltage, overcurrent, reverse-polarity, and ESD protection. It uses an imported German EtherNet/IP chip and an imported U.S. MCU chip. The DI and DO circuits are isolated from the main control section, so external electromagnetic interference will not disrupt module operation, making it suitable for complex industrial environments.

This EtherNet/IP industrial Ethernet gateway converts between EtherNet/IP and other industrial Ethernet or fieldbus protocols. An EtherNet/IP Scanner can control devices on other protocols through this gateway, or exchange data with them. It can also be used for bus-level data acquisition, uploading the collected data to the EtherNet/IP Scanner.
